University Work & Other Briefs.
The Script, writers and music artist CD cover.
Create a CD Cover for a band with reference to the music genre, the band themselves and the audience, making sure the design is Asthetically Pleasing.
Dino's Pizzera Logo
Brief given asked to create a 2 colour logo (for financial reasons) to use on the box and other stationary purposes. The design could not bleed over the sides of the box due to costs of creating the boxes.
My design resulted in a simplistic design using a trirangular shape with text in the bottom corner of the box, triangle representing a slice of pizza. The green and red to symbolize the Italian nature of Pizza's.
To the right, is an example of how the pizzeria could personalize their boxes, with little cost.
As the boxes come in flat pack, it would be possible to emboss part of the logo inside the box, so when the sutomer has finished eating the pizza, there is a 'slice' of the company logo, to remind them again where the pizza was bought. The letter 'i' with the triangular shape is an easy, simple, but memorable image for the customers to remember, hopefully, with a result of making the business more successful.
Pizzeria logo continuted throughout the company, with the logo being displayed above the shop with italian flag, and take- away phone number.
Front of store looks elegant, clean and modern. The logo is very well suited to this type of restaurant, and ties in the continuous feel of clean cut, and fresh.
Anglesey Aluminium Logo.
I decided to look at the well known Designer "Paul Rand" and decided to create a brief that would produce a design similr to the style of the Artist mentioned.
There is a company near where i live called Anglesey Aluminium, which makes and outports aluminium. The original logo, in my opinion didn't really show the exact kind of company it was, so i re-created the logo using the similar colours to the original, (grey and light blue)... with the two letter A's. The Grey diagonal lines breaking off the central A replicates the metallic element and the industrial side of the company.
I believe the new logo is memorable, and is more associable to the kind of work that goes on within the workplace.
Anglesey Aluminium, current logo.
Anglesey aluminium's current and original logo. Which looks more like it involves water, or boats.
Corporate Branding Brief.
The brief was named "Journey". For this i created many pieces of work discovering the journey of music and the different genres music has. After this, i decided to create a recording company and designed the logo, corporate branding and web banner.
I specified the genre to "dance" music, and therefore had "Dance Journey" from which DeJo (the recording companies name) came.
These are examples of the final pieces.
Benny's Restaurant Brief
I was asked to create a new Table Tent advertising a new desert using the specific image shown. It was for a family restaurant named "benny's".
This brief suited me perfectly, due to the fact it included advertisment, and specifically for a family restaurant, thus meaning, the design I created would be clean cut, minimal with an elegant finish.
